SDR and other receiver filters(IN-PROGRESS)

Receiving those strange and wonderful DX transmitters can be difficult if other nearby transmitters are desensitizing your receiver's front end.  Filtering out what we do not want lets us increase the amount of usable signal to noise available to our receivers.

RTL-SDR.COM filters
  • 88-108MHz BANDSTOP Broadcast FM Reject Filter
    • <0.25db Insertion Loss
  • 2.4MHz HPF Broadcast AM Reject Filter
    • <0.25db Insertion Loss (Above 7MHz)

Nooelec filters
  • Flamingo+ High Attenuation Broadcast FM Bandstop Filter
    • <0.5db Insertion Loss
  • Distill:AM Broadcast AM Bandstop Filter
    • <0.25db Insertion Loss (Above 3MHz)
  • Ham Filter Bank Multiband Bandpass Filter
    • <2db to <5db Insertion Loss (Has internal amplifier)

Microstrip style filters
  • ADS-B 1090 microstrip filter
    • <2db Insertion Loss

Cheap filters
  • Quad Band Pass Filter
    • <3db Insertion Loss
